Healthcare is about more than treating symptoms. It is about listening, understanding, and helping people make informed decisions about their health. Dr Michelle Murray approaches every patient interaction with this philosophy in mind — combining medical knowledge with a strong commitment to ethical, compassionate care.
Dr Murray obtained her medical degree (MBChB) and a Diploma in Occupational Health & Medicine from the University of Pretoria. Her career has also included valuable international experience working in hospitals in the United Kingdom, broadening her clinical perspective and strengthening her ability to care for patients from diverse backgrounds.
With more than two decades of medical experience, she has worked across general practice, occupational health, emergency medicine, and hospital-based care. She has extensive experience within the mining industry, where she played an important role in promoting workplace health and safety — particularly in advancing policies that supported the wellbeing of pregnant employees and their safe return to work.
